Nordic Traditions: Ceramic Luminary with Sue Flanders (In-Person)

Create a cherished family heirloom that will bring light and joy every holiday season.Starting with a porcelain tree shape, students will apply a variety of Nordic holiday symbols such as nisse, cardamom roll, woven heart, fjord horse, waffle, straw goat, Dala horse, Lucia bun, mittens, and socks. The symbols are made using templates and spring molds, and are then attached to the tree and painted with colorful under-glazes.
