Join us Friday, November 6th, for the return of Weather Beacon Red! Weather Beacon Red, Doppel Märzen (LAGER BEER) 8.5% ABV This “winter warmer” brew is named in honor of the Weather Beacon, a 500-foot tower that accented Des Moines' skyline from 1960 to 2012. The beacon’s light provided an instant forecast: "Weather Beacon red, warmer weather ahead. Weather Beacon white, colder weather in sight. Weather Beacon green, no change in weather foreseen.
