About Fairacres
Fairacres was planned for families who would drive the roughly four miles to downtown offices, because no streetcar line reached it. Kessler, a nationally known City Beautiful landscape architect, ran the streets along the natural valleys so the houses could sit on the high ground; Fairacres Road follows a sweeping backwards-S curve.
