About Gifford Park

The neighborhood sits roughly between the North Freeway and 38th Street, and between Dodge and Cuming streets, next to Bemis Park, the Gold Coast and the Near North Side. Its land was part of one of the first claims in Omaha City, made by Jesse Lowe, the city's first mayor.
