The Hilyard Center will set up their annual altar for Día de los Muertos on Monday, Oct. 26. The altar will remain up through Día de los Muertos on Nov. 2, 2026. A Día de los Muertos altar or ofrenda is a temporary display to welcome and honor deceased loved ones. All are invited to participate in the altar. If you have a photo of a loved one you would like included on this year's altar, please email it to UND.thehilyardcenter@UND.edu and we will ensure they are included.
