SUMMARY:Aikido at Grinnell College
LOCATION:Bear Center Multipurpose Dance Studio (P103):1201 10th Ave\, Gri
 nnell\, IA 50112
DESCRIPTION:Aikido is a traditional Japanese martial art that resolves co
nflict by redirecting an attacker's own energy and momentum to throw or p

and core strength\, rather than upper body strength\, to make techniques
work. The Grinnell dojo is affiliated with the United States Aikido Fede
ration\, and our students have the option to test for rank. Classes are l
 ed by Charles Cunningham\, 4th dan\, licensed instructor (shidoin).\n\nHo
