This week in Hanscom Park
About Hanscom Park
Hanscom Park is counted among Omaha's oldest residential subdivisions, and its namesake park is the city's oldest surviving park. Developers Andrew J. Hanscom and James G. Megeath gave about 57 acres to the city in 1872; the land was part of their larger Hanscom Place development but was too hilly to build houses on.
