Our Nebraska: The Place, Its People, & Their Impact
Thursday, November 12 through Wednesday, November 25
Nebraska History Museum · 131 Centennial Mall North, Lincoln, NE
Hosted by Lincoln Convention & Visitors Bureau
The history of this land begins long before 1776. Before Nebraska was a state, people had been living here for thousands of years. Their stories, knowledge, and connections to the land formed the foundation of Nebraska’s story and endure today. The Louisiana Purchase brought this land into the United States, sparking change, opportunity, and conflict. It also changed the trajectory of the land’s future.
