Join Sheri and author Florence Schloneger as they present the story behind the story in the book Sara’s Trek which takes place during 1943-1948. Discover the journey of the Mennonite Friesen and Rempel families from Steinfeld (a Molotschna Colony in Ukraine) to Wulka, Poland, through many places in Germany and finally to Canada and Paraguay. While the book is historical fiction, it is based on research Florence did while she and her husband attended seminary.
