About Millard

Millard began in 1870 as a Union Pacific station on land owned by Ezra Millard, an Omaha banker and mayor, who named it for himself. It was a small farm town with a mill on Papillion Creek, a brickyard and an elevator, and it stayed its own town until 1971. Its schools still are.
