Recognize. Respond. Refer. Part 2: Question, Persuade, Refer – Suicide Prevention and Empathetic Support with QPR Training
Wednesday, November 4 · 1:30 PM–3:30 PM
Hovey Hall · 201 S School Street, Normal
Hosted by Illinois State University
, Just as people trained in CPR help save lives, those trained in QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and take action to connect someone with help. As members of the ISU community, faculty and staff are often the first to notice signs of distress in students. This session positions you as a vital link in the chain of support and equips you with tools to respond with clarity and compassion.
