The South Dakota Department of Health is implementing Healthy Brain Initiatives across South Dakota. The Healthy Minds, Stronger Communities event in Spearfish on Saturday, 11/7, will provide educational sessions, resource tables, health screening including glucose and blood pressure and hearing (as these are three factors that can increase risk of dementia). This is a free event located in the Jacket Legacy Room on November 7th from 9am-12pm.
