The Anoka County Law Library hosts a criminal expungement clinic on the third Tuesday of each month. No pre-registration is necessary. Expungement is the process of filing a motion in court to request that a judge seal a court record. People request expungement when they have been denied employment, housing, or a professional license due to a criminal incident that appears on a background check.
