After bringing Stephen King's novel "Misery" to the screen, William Goldman adapted it for the stage. In this tight, three-person play, the audience is invited into the home of Annie Wilkes, writer Paul Sheldon's No. 1 fan. She discovers him after an auto accident during a snow storm and brings him back to her home in the woods to care for him.
