‘Decolonizing the Canvas: Reversing Russification in Culture, Land, and Life’

Join us for the art exhibit “Image / Object” Thursday, March 18 through Saturday, April 17, in the H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art. “Image / Object” bridges a relationship between photography and sculpture by exploring the limits of materiality, embodiment, and perception, through alternative processes. Artists in the exhibition ask how images can be developed into dimensional beings that occupy space by reassembling and recontextualizing everyday materials.
