Learn With Your Library: Fossils
Thursday, November 5 · 4 PM–5 PM
La Crescent Community Building · 336 S. 1st St, La Crescent, MN, 55947
Hosted by La Crescent Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism
Come and discover what southeast MN was like in the past, the types of rocks found here, the kinds of fossils found in the area, and how to identify fossils. Then you’ll have time to practice identifying fossils. Greg Anderson works for the Minnesota Deptartment of Natural Resources as the Assistant Cave Supervisor at Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park. He has worked at the park for over 20 years.
