The Art of Remembrance: The Ofrenda
Saturday, November 7 · 11 AM–1 PM
Valley Large Conference Room · Valley Library (Lakeland)
Hosted by Washington County Library
Honoring loved ones who have died is an important tradition in Latino culture. An ofrenda is a special display created to honor a deceased relative or friend. It may include photos, mementos, and other meaningful items. Bring special items from home to create your own Day of the Dead ofrenda with ArtStart teaching artists Gustavo Boada and Julie Boada at Valley Library in Lakeland. Participants must be ages 7 and up.
