About Fall Creek
Fall Creek began in 1870, when its post office opened under the name Cousins, after an Eau Claire businessman; four years later the name changed to Fall Creek, for the rapids on a nearby creek. Today Lincoln Avenue is the main street, with a pub, bar and grills, a credit union and small shops. Neighbors gather in Keller Park for ball games, tennis and pond fishing, and in Randall Park, where the historical society keeps its museums and an old jailhouse and hosts pie and ice cream socials each summer. In 2026 the library opened a new brick library and village center on Lincoln Avenue, with help from a community fundraising campaign and a large state grant.
