About Glencoe
Glencoe was laid out in 1855 and named for Glen Coe in Scotland. The county seat of McLeod County, it was made a city in 1909 and sits on Buffalo Creek in the Crow River watershed. Today neighbors swim at the Aquatic Center in Oak Leaf Park, work out at the Panther Field House, and gather for the farmers market, Dairy Days and the Holly Days medallion hunt.
