About Bayport
Bayport began as three small riverfront settlements on the St. Croix River, which joined in 1873 as South Stillwater and took the name Bayport in 1922. Sawmills and boat building shaped its early years. Today people come for the river, the marina and the parks. Each year the town holds a Memorial Day parade and Derby Days, a weekend with a rubber duck race, music and fireworks over the river.
