About Rush City
Rush City was platted in 1870 and became a city in 1874, and it sits along Rush Creek in Chisago County. West of town, East and West Rush Lake together cover almost 2,700 acres and are known for fishing. A few miles east, the St. Croix River is a protected wild and scenic river. In town, neighbors use the Dana Avenue park, which has play structures, a pavilion and a band shell.
