This week in South St. Paul

About South St. Paul
South St. Paul was set up as its own city in 1887, split from West St. Paul when the stockyards came. The stockyards and the big meat-packing plants brought workers from the Balkans and Eastern Europe, which made it one of the most mixed towns in the county. Today about 20,700 people live here, and the high school is home to the Packers.
