About Spring Lake Park
Spring Lake Park is a small city about 7,000 neighbors strong, in Anoka County with a corner in Ramsey County, just north of Minneapolis. Highway 65, Central Avenue, runs north and south through the middle of town, and neighbors include Blaine, Fridley, Mounds View and Coon Rapids. The first Spring Lake Park Junior/Senior High School opened in 1955. In 1976 the high school became the first in the nation to train its students as emergency medical technicians.
